We challenge YOU to explore Algoma! On the morning of September 25th, we will release a survey on our website with very specific questions about locations around our lovely town of Algoma. We will also have physical copies at the library for those that don't have the internet. The challenge is that you need to go to those locations to find the answers.
Participants that complete the survey before midnight on the 27th will be able to pick up a participation prize on the following Monday.
(Instead of digital scavenger hunt, date has been extended to allow for bad weather.)

Each month we'll feature art, tinkering, and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) activities. There will be a new activity kit available on the first Wednesday of the month! While supplies last.
We have a new Info Soup.
That means lots is changing.
Here are some recent Q&As.
A: Everyone's pins have been reset to be their birthday. If your birthday is May 7th, 2002, your new pin would be 050702. Also, make sure your library card hasn't expired. If you continue to have issues connecting to your InfoSoup account, contact a librarian via email ([email protected]) or call us at 920-487-2295.
Q: I'm trying to get to the InfoSoup website, why is my bookmark not working?
A: If you have InfoSoup saved on your computer or device, we recommend deleting the bookmark and going to www.infosoup.org to add it to your bookmarks/favorites again, as the old link may cause issues.
Q: I'm a teacher and I've gotten into my personal card, but my teacher card isn't working, why can't I get into my teaching account?
A: When the pins were reset, personal accounts were set to the cardholders 6 digit birthday. Since teacher cards don't have a birthday associated with them, there is a unique pin given to teacher cards. Call us at the library (920) 487-2295 and ask a Librarian what your teacher default pin is and, while your on the phone, double check when your card expires as expired cards cannot login or checkout items.
Q: I had holds on my account that I don't see anymore. Where did my holds go?
A: During the migration to the new system, some data did not convert over. Unfortunately, some holds did not transfer over properly and patrons from our library system have lost holds. OWLS is trying diligently to resolve this issue and restore the holds on patrons accounts that did not migrate.
